The two year full time MBA programme is spread over 4 semesters. During the first two semesters the students are exposed to the basics of general management underlying different operational functions of corporate management through core subjects. In the third semester the students are permitted to choose electives suitable to their personal interest leading to specialization in any functional area of management viz. Finance, Marketing, Human resources, Operations and Systems. The fourth semester is completely meant for project work.

PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

1. The Department of Management Studies will have knowledge Delivery through a combination of Academic Achievers and Industry Professionals as Faculty

2. The Department will provide contemporary and Meaningful executive education and development.

3. At least 10 percent of the Graduate will be developed as Entrepreneur.

PROGRAMME OUTCOMES

a. An ability to apply knowledge of management – including Operations management, statistics, Organizational Behavior and Business Communication skills as it applies to Business Administration.

b. An ability to develop analytical skills in order to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic , environmental, social, political, ethical manufacturability and sustainability.

c. An ability to work individually or as a member in a cohesive team with responsibility to function on Multi- disciplinary teams.

d. An understanding of professional, legal and ethical issues and responsibilities.

e. An ability to communicate effectively in speak and in writing including documentation of legal aspects of Business Systems.

f. Able to show the understanding of impact of Business Re-engineering solutions in a global on the society, economic and Business Environment.

g. An ability to recognize the importance of professional development by pursuing higher studies and face competitive examination that offer challenging and rewarding careers in management/ Business sector.

h. An ability to develop them to take position of higher responsibility in the corporate world around the globe.
